Cornelia Reetz is a documentary filmmaker and
video consultant with a passion for social justice, human rights and the environment. She has worked in nonprofit communications
for almost ten years and uses her expertise to advice public and third sector organisations on how to maximise the impact
of video within their communication strategy. She also produces advocacy and promotional films. In the past, she has worked
with organisations such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Oxfam, the UN Department of Public Information, the Aegis
Trust and many other organisations. Since November 2011, Cornelia is Creative Director at Film4Change.
Cornelia's production records include The
Only Way, a documentary about a “freegan” Christian group that was repeatedly broadcast on British television,
and Footprints an educational film commissioned by the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme. She
also produced No Safe Haven a campaigns film used by the Aegis Trust to successfully change British law on the prosecution of war criminals living in the UK. As the Audiovisual Producer at the
Holocaust Centre in Nottinghamshire, she made a series of short documentaries about the Holocaust and other genocides. Cornelia was voluntarily
involved in the collection of memories of Third Reich perpetrators, bystanders and witnesses for Luke Holland’s video
archive project Final Account.
